This is a fabulously elegant jacket, that combines well with many basics and can be dressed up or down for a really unique look.  It drapes beautifully from the shoulders and has softly shaped lapels in front. It is hand painted on sand washed silk charmeuse.  This luxury silk is buttery soft and has a rich and subtle shine that enhances color.  It is wrinkle resistant and is a great travel piece, as well.   I can interpret this piece in the ocean colors: mermaid blues and greens, deep blue-violet and purples with red violet or magenta ribbons around the borders.  It also interprets well in cool earth tones: taupe, rose brown, plum, burgundy and pine green.  It can be sculpted for the petite frame or lengthened in front or back for a longer look, as well.
